Default Tire Question

i been rolling on 215/40/17 series tires(falkens) would i be ok rolling on 205/40/17 series tires. Would i feel a driving difference, as in bumpy ride or something

rims are 17x7.5 thanks for everybody who responded..might just stick with the 215/40... tires are expensive..i could come up with 205/40/17 for $160 used

i actually had this same question about someone who had recommended me running 205s on some 7.5" wheels, and the responses i got said that 205 is just too narrow (i know 205s are what come with the stock 6.5" wheels on 4th gens). i think maybe you could pull that with some 7" but i know i'm going to stick with 215 or 225 for my wheels
