Coffee spill...
Hello people...
So my friend spilled some mocha stuff in my car in the backseat. unfortunately, the thing soaked partially into the foam area of the seat. when i took the seat off, i can totally smell it in the foam.... that was cleaned with the extractor thing (twice!) and it still smells. 3 different places (acura dealer, auto detailing place, and oen more) told me that i should get it totally cleaned by getting the clothe/leather part taken off, and the foam part totally cleaned out. one place quoted me at around $210. 210 to clean the freakin thing! i can get it shampooed and cleaned for around $70~ but no guarantee that it'll be totally clean.
i guess what i'm worried about is if it's not cleaned properly, the milk in the mocha might go bad and start smelling really bad...and furthermore, cause some mildrew break out or somethin.
have any of you had any spilling problems? and if so, how did you take care of it? i just want the smell to go bad and/or some stuff to start growing inside of it...i'm wondering if i should just suffer the $210 (or half of that cause my friend will pay the other half...) to get it seriously taken care of?
thank you!

one more note...this is for my R...so it's the back seat with the clothe thing in the middle and the leathery thing on the sides...(for each seat that is).
thanks!

my car has the red seats when my drunken after a night of drinking decides to eat in the car the bissel cleaner in the can with the foam brush gets everything out from barf to chinese food
Was this like a half-gallon jug or something? I wouldn't pay $210 to clean the seat. That's ridiculous. Just shampoo it good. Give it a few days to dry out, and you won't notice any smell.
Also remember that accidents happen to everyone. So just don't let anyone drink in your car anymore.
