short shifter: single bend or double bend?
The bends shouldn't really matter, because the Integra and Civic shifters are interchangeable. My B&M shifter doesn't have any bends. It's just one straight piece.

It depends where you want the **** to sit. Double bend keeps the stock posistion.

dual bend = will sit just like stock
single bend = you will have to reach forward more
both will work, but if you want more of a stock feel/location, or have short arms get a dual bend.

just installed my dual bend skunk2 the other day and i love it. poly bushings and all. its alittle stiff but it will loosen up. plus the skunk2 does sit at stock position and there is alittle boot sag.
they come in both for 2nd gens.

I just snapped a pic of mine. I honestly didn't notice a difference from where the B&M sits (since it has no bends at all). It's not like you have to lean forward to shift, and I'm tall too. See for yourself:

Yeah that definitely sits farther forward.
If you have a shift **** that's more vertically oriented (competition style, stock GS-R, tall anatomic style, etc) then it will look wierd IMHO to have it on a single bend shifter, since it will lean backwards in neutral. Also if you have a shift **** like that, it will be more natural and easier to shift if the **** is perfectly vertical when it's in neutral.
I remember when I had my old car, the stock shifter leaned back when in neutral. When I installed a Razo shift **** (pictured below) it was difficult to shift because of the angle. I took the shifter out and used a torch to heat it and then add a 2nd bend to the shifter so it would sit straight up in neutral.
Here's that same Razo in my car now:
