Ground Control Coil Overs
Just wondering if anyone has attemped to install these themselves. I have installed Neuspeed Race Springs and Tokico shocks before. Now I want to change out the Neuspeeds for Ground Controls that I just recieved today. I have fiddled with them. I now it will be a bit of a pain. Any one got any recommondations or Ideas. Oh yeah the place is gonna charge $200 to install them. Just want to see what you guys think

Acutually that price is just for installation. They said around $200. These A Holes might charge more. The GC coil overs do require cuting of bump stops and other stuff sounds like a pain
cutting of bump stops? I'm about to buy some GC for my GSR, but what do you mean by bump stops? I'm not performing the installation, but i'd like to know if they're gonna cut anything on my car!
Yeah on the end of your shocks there are rubber stubs called bump stops. My instructions stated that they are to be cut in half and the dust boot also needs to be cut in half. Just look at the instructuions when you get them you'll see
I don't see why it would but I do recommend getting New shocks. Do it all at once. They stock shocks ten to go pretty fast when your car is lowered.

Oh yeah a if you plan on doing a lot of mods to your car just go ahead and say " Bye Bye" to the warrenty. Hondas are well built cars unlike some american POS coughing "FORD" So have a little faith and enjoy hooking your car up..

200 is a major rip off, don't pay that much. It should be about 60 or so. The coilovers shouldn't be that much harder than regular springs to install. The cutting of your bumpstop is nothing, you just do it with a knife! And the cutting of the dust covers can be done with a dremel really easily. Or hacksaw.

And seeing that you have a 2001, you might want to think twice about mods cuz it might void the warranty..........
