best springs?? TEIN Stech or H&R sports?
I am in the market and TEIN Stech, and H&R sports are same $$$. i have a friend with h&R storts and i like them but they are a little low. i love their stiff spring rate and i just wanted to know what the TEINs are like. (1.5/1.4 drop)
the car is a daily driver with performance in mind.

I have a friend with the tein springs. I like them, but wish they would drop it just a little more. The wheels are maybe an inch inch and a half from the fender line. It also seems they make the car tilt forward some.

H&R also has the OE sports which are only around an inch drop if the regular sports are too low for you. Sorry dont know much about the Tein springs so I wouldnt be any help to you there.

I have the H&R sports and they are fairly comfortable for a daily driver. They're not too low I think. You can still see a wheel gap on the car.

I must have some freak Sports then, because my ride is really stiff paired with Koni Yellows. It isn't harsh or underdamped, just very, very firm. Less than comfy for a DD, IMO.

A little low??!! You wuss. I have the race ones and they aren't even that low. Low's when all you can do is drive on flat ground, can't go into Sonic without scrapin....j/k
I haven't ever ridden in a sport equipped ef, but I have ridden in a sport equipped DA teg. Not much difference in ride, but race is pretty darn firm, but if you want soft stay oem.

i like the stiff spring rates that the h&r sports have. however people i know have had problems after their swap with the oil pan hanging lower than stock. i have personally witnessed holes ripped in them, and this can happen to anyone. i just want something with a stiff spring rate and a conservative drop. any more info on the teins stech?
