Default rings or seals?

i am burning oil like woah and smoke is commin out of my exhaust. do i need rings or valve seals. how much are parts? i can do the work myself

no one will be able to answer your question with an explanation like that. have you TS either of the suspected componenets? you are gonna have to give a little more elaboration.

ok, it smokes when the car goes over like 4 grand. u know when i am getting on it and ****. bad smell too

If you have a 91 Si, welcome to the wonderful world of B21a. I burn almost 1.5 quarts of oil every 400 miles. I'm just gonna buy a case to put in the trunk this summer. Honestly, if you are having problems like that you are better off just swapping in a JDM B20a. It will probably only cost you in the neighborhood of $750 shipped, and you will NOT have the oil burning problems again. The only difference between the two motors is about .05 less displacement and maybe 5 less hp. Regardless, the better reliability is worth it.

i would love to do a swap, but the ony problem is that i am a college student, therefore poor. if i switched out for the jdm, would i need new mounts or anything. i would love to get a Si motor cuz i got the P.O.S. carb model.
