I did research but could not find why people are not doing washer trick for front to fix camber. It does not work or it's for safty reason?

for rear, what size of washer do i need to fix about 1.5 degree?

 

just get a couple of 3/8 washers, gota use trial and error i guess to see how many u really need

 

I'm using four 3/8 washers from home depot on the rear of my car.
I think it helped.

 

for front, do you guys like skunk2 style(changing whole LCA) or SPC style? Which one will work better?

A guy from local tire shop said that welding is involved to install SPC camber kit therefore i can't install it myself(He wanted $140 for installation). Is it true? cuz i read everyone in this board installing their camber kit by themselves. BTW it's for 95 del sol.

 

You dont need to weld, there are bolts holding it in place.

 

I have had washers in the rear of my Si for 3 years now and no probs!

 

what's the difference b/w ingalls or the spc ball joints style vs. full uca replacement like skunk2? What's the advantage of one over the other?

Thats not true about the SPC ones because I just did mine myself this weekend and I didnt do any welding. It was a bitch getting the stock one out tho since i didnt have a ball joint compressor or whatever tool you need to take it off. I just hammered it until it came out...LOL...

so only washers are needed? last time i used different screws and washers

All you need is a couple of hand-wrenches. No biggie. Like 15 min install.

 

are longer bolts required to install 3 or 4 washers?

 

I have the stock bolts with 3 washers. I hear the rule of thumb is 1 washer for every .5 degrees.... trial in error.. anything more than 3, it is strongly recomended to lengthen the bolt...

why you need ball joint compressor for then? What did you have trouble with to get it out?
