since your too lazy to check your car should already be wired for vtec the only two things you gonna have to do is add knock sensor wire and transfer wires from another side b/c its JDM they have battery at the right side...

jeez....you do not have a vtec wire in a cx...you couldn't tell?

howabout trying a 92-95 civic si harness. or maybe even a 94-95 gsr dohc vtec harness.

i guess the search was disabled.....

Use your stock CX harness and run the vtec wires, knock, and o2 to the ecu. You could also use a 92-95 civic si/ex harness and save the vtec wires but at a added cost.

I didn't need a new harness. I was told that the 92 CX's that were made in Canada came VTEC ready. Er...I think all 92 CX's were made in Canada. But anyways.

Yes the harness you plug into at the shock tower is wired for vtec on all 92 Civics but the engine harnesses are different. Only the si/vx harness will have the vtec plugs. Bet bet will to use your stock harness on the new motor. It won't have plugs for vtec but you can steal the plugs of of the cut b16's harness and run the wires to the ecu.

I guess I'll just add the VTEC wires than. I hope this isn't too difficult.

that model should be wired already from what i've seen. your stock harness will work just fine. if you don't know how to add 4 wires to your harness, you may want to consider having someone who has done it before help you out during your swap.

I have a JDM B16A SiR II in my '92 CX as well. Since VTEC is already wired into the engine bay harness all I used was an engine harness off a '92 Si/EX and just added the knock-sensor wire. Use that harness and just add ONE wire, that's all it takes.
