What engine swap has the most bang for my buck for a 94 coupe?
I have a 94 coupe that i just got. I would like to swap a engine into it (possibly a jdm engine). I would like to know what engine would be the best for the money.
noob question!! it all depends on what you want to do with your car. i.e drag, auto-x, chase "fast and furious" cars on the highway, whatever. the "most bang for your buck"??? do some research, be patient, and don't make any rash decision that will cost you more in the long run when you realize what you really wanted to do. Just my $.02
99-00 b20z for daily driving fun .
h22 for some 1/4 mile fun.
keep in mind your coupe is pretty heavy, so you need something with torque.

CR-V
I would go with an H22, cause it's got good torque, and the balance of the car should stay good.

[sing] Too gay...(too gay)...Too curious.[/sing]
Anyhow, I would say B18C1 or H22A. If you are not sure what they come out of(like the B20) then the C1 is from a Integra GSR, and the H22A is from a Prelude. Sorry if you already knew, just thought it could help you answer more questions without wasting 1 of your 5 per day posts...

Oh my god, are you serious
Oh my god, are you serious
I was being sarcastic about that "fast and furious" thing. I just want a engine that will give me acceleration and is good to tune..
