either spring is not recomended for tokico blues,

If your have the iluminas, then your ok.

If you just want lower, I have some sprint springs, that are 2.5 front and 2.25 rear if your want to trade...

Coil overs would work too.. I have a set of OBX coil overs... I can get rid of too..

If your only interested in the look I would get some cheap coil overs so you can put the car where you want it.. ..I would also get a life time alignment, and get that done ever time decide to move your perches..

and your going to need a camber kit if you already don't have one..

Dude, don't cut your springs. You will mess up the spring rate and your car will look like a bouncing whooptie. Save your money and do it right.

One thing for certain, if you cut your springs you risk warping them. When you do that, your ride will sag and basically your car will probably bounce around and look like ****. Also, you risk cutting them and not making the springs match. So you might have a longer or shorter spring. I would just find a decent adjustable coil over kit or get a really nice expensive true coilover system ei, H&R or Tein. I would go with a GC/Koni yellow setup. I have that.

I'd stay away from obx. Just get yourself some GC's or skunk2's and call it a day.

I want more literature on this. I have Neuspeed sports and tokico blues and my setup works great. Are you saying that tokico blues need stiffer springs or softer springs?

I have cut mine on everything I have owned(trucks, mustangs, Old Cars). Just don't do it with a torch it takes the temper out of the springs. I have always used a die grinder with a cut-off wheel. Mine has never bounced or rode like s#*t.

Just my .02

no its that the spring rate of the skunk2's is too much for the tokico blues to handle..

Weapon R are not really good imo. If you get regular sleve collar coilovers get some skunk 2's or Ground control. If you want you can get diff springs for the skunk 2's for only $60. I have skunk 2 on my coupe with illumnas and they work good for the price. For daily driving id rather have a progressive rate regular lowering spring and good struts such as Koni or Tokiko illumnas work great

You have a good suspension setup, don't mess with it just cuz you got the wrong size tires. You need 195/50/15 tires to get you back to the height you want. Just get the tires, it will be much less of a hassle. And speaking from experience cutting springs is not a good idea. Neuspeed sports are a good spring, any lower and the ride is seriously shitty. I have Neuspeed race springs and I hate it. It's great on the track but sucks so bad driving around town.
