ps-be carefull driving on the street with a full cage. even if u pad it it still hurts and can do damage if u whack your head on it in the event of an accident.

I dont know if that one will fit a CRX but it should work for a hatchback.

I/O Port racing is a big supplier of Autopower. You could also go to Kirk Racing Products. Search for any on this on Google and you will find your answers.

well i had a buddy of mine just wreck his focus (had a 6 point cage in it) and he compressed a disc in his back when his head hit the upper bar on the cage (it does have padding on it) so no they arent real safe for daily driving but you can do it, im going to but my car isnt going to be on the street in 6 monthes so i dont really care

Thats not something I'm worried about, I'm installing a 5 point harness on both seats anyway.
Thanks guys!
By the way, isn't 1-3/4"x.134" a little thin?

I am not a big fan of bolt in roll cage's. I would suggest a custom weld in cage. better support and cost is about the same. It's about 1200.00-1500.00 for it.
Bolt in is not much less then this. This is just my opinion and I do not wish to attack anyone with or wanting to buy a bolt in cage. These are just my thoughts.

I think it is a little small, and I dont know if the 8 point is NHRA or SCCA legal, you would have to check on that.

It's not that it cannot handle street driving, its that other items must be work when a cage is installed. A helmet and 5pt harness are essential when driving in a car with a cage. They all work together and if you leave out the helmet and harness, your worse off having the cage than not.

I agree. Just go with a roll bar for a street car.
