Low engine idle fluctuation when A/C goes on
Has anyone had this problem before? I tried to search, but didn't know what to search under.
At idle, with the A/C on, my EG idle fluctuates up and down I hear what sounds like some motor going on and off. I keep thinking the engine will stall, only for some motor to kick in.
Any idea?

it's a stock d series motor. it doesn't happen on an '01 v6accord, '01 s2000, '01 civic coupe. (well, my '93 civic is 8 years older)..the rpms fluctuate from what looks like 300rpms (close to stalling, then jumps up 1000 or so, then drops again).
on all my other cars..it fluctuates, but the noise and the drop isn't as drastic.
