yeah i also thought that it was going to be 2600, i know i have the sterns which are a couple of pounds lighter than stock itr wheels plus i didnt have the spare tire or tools or jack in, but that doesnt account for the ~100lbs of difference or does it?

is your header ceramic? i noticed about 15-20 pounds difference from my stock header to my JDM DC 4-1 ceramic. there's a little more weight savings.

The stock Euro ITR only weighs 1100 kg (2420 lbs) empty, just like the JDM ITR. Things like bumper support and that bar underneath the rear seat are not in the Euro ITR.
I don't have A/C, P/S, back seat, carpet, radio, speakers, spare tire, antenna, plastic interior etc.
I also have a C/F hood and JDM 4-1 header.
BTW. 1020 kg is only with a little bit fuel.

Do you mean that big, three piece black metal bar under the rear seats is not found on UKDM/JDM ITR's?
That must mean it does not significantly aid structural rigidity. Interesting.

Don't worry about it.
You have one unless it was removed.
It's a big black bar. That's the best description. There is no way to mistake it for something else.

So does it sit directly under the bottom of the seats? I only have a silver sheet metal piece that goes from one side of the car to the other side, but it weighs nothing.

No, it's near the passenger footwell.
Come to think of it, it's probably there to protect the rear footwell.

It's in plain sight when the rear seats are removed.

That's strange then because I have not noticed anything with my seats out.

You can see it in this pic correct?
Look right above the fuel pump stuff. That black bar that goes across right in the bend of your knees (if you were sitting on the rear seats).
