Sorry to post it here, but in this forum there are most technical people, I think of buying an Quad like this:

Is that brand "Cannondale" any good? I mean it is an US brand with an high reving engine, which I usualy trust only Japan to built it strong and healthy. Both have their pros and cons, but the canondale big pros are cheaper price and Standaolone engine management
.....but I get no warranty on it
The Yamaha has many aftermarket parts like strocker kits and I have warranty and it looks cooler IMO.
But can oyu guys tell me if Cannondale is any good brand?

I would stay away from Cannondale when it comes to anything but bicycles.
Their motorcycle/ATV division was recently shut down.

I didn't know Cannondale made ATVs.
They are a high-end bicycle manufacturer. ???

: Cannondale's motorcycle division just went belly-up. This means no support once you've purchased your new quad.
For this reason alone I'd stick to the Yamaha.

They do have some decent bikes... If they fit you... They also have some really stupid innovation, (headshock, lefty forks etc...)
Too bad they had to buy the rights from Gary Klein to teach them how to build a frame

That's what I thought. I never knew they did anything but bikes. Great bikes though.
CHris, who has one.

How is the headshok a stupid innovation? It has less flex than 90% of front shocks out there.

It also stresses out the already weak headset, plus maintenenace and replacement parts on them are a bitch to get.
Chris King still builds the best headset, handsdown, but its $

1 1/8 Chris King is the last headset you'll ever buy
(if your abusive they ahve a stainless version).
I would stay away from the Cannondale quads only because of the warranty, They spent a lot of money on this division and produced good products, but now that you can't get parts it does no good.
