greasing the shift linkages

Most, the only place you would need to is the ball on the shifter and the bushing area where the shifter attaches to the long rod. Use white lithium grease.

where do you put the grease how do you get to it? My car had about 95000 should i do this will it easy up the shifting effort b/c i've noticed it's sometimes a little harder than most cars (not really hard or anything)

To grease the ball joint on the shifter, you have to get under the car, disconnect it from the arm and pull the shifter out of the car. There is a plastic bushing between the mounting plate and the ball of the shifter....pull the shifter out of the bushing, clean it up, put in new grease and reassemble. If its all stock, you might have to put in new rubber bushings between the shifter and arm.
