It is starting to be common from what I can see for the salespeople to bash the ITR now that the Type S is out.I had a chance to beat the **** out of one on a test drive a few days ago.A close friend is a service writer at the dealer so we went out in it.After driving it and upon returning the salesmen asked if i was ready to get rid of my car.I replied yes, if you would give me two of the Type S's.He wasn't amused. Then he claimed that it would blow my car away.I told him that in comfort, yes it would, but that is all.So I thought I would be nice and give him a chance to make a few dollars.I asked him if he would like to take the type S and race me.I told him if he could beat me to 80mph I would gladly trade the R in for one.He declined.

At least salesmen talk to u guys. I pulled up w/ a friend pimped out in suits, 2 cellies each (borrowed haha) slicked hair, in my ITR and we didnt even get a hell for the whole 30 min we were in tehre. THe only thing they said was "please dont shift while the car isn't on". The keys were on the dash too, i think they were going to startor had just finished moving cars. I was tempted to start it up but oh well haha

Look at these dealers trying to get a sale. Gotta feel sorry for them. They'll beg you for your business!

The sad thing is that the sales people usually don't even know what is going on. You should have seen the people that sold me my R. They were amazed at all the crap I was telling them about the car. Oh well!!!!!!

I have a bad experience to share as well.

I went with my friend to the Acura dealer because he has to take care of some financial stuff with his car. So i was browsing around the lot, i drove the minivan that day because i felt like it, and i was wearing my workout gear because i was heading to the gym right after.....all of a sudden, a hyperactive salesmam comes up to me and goes "thats for you" ....im like "what did you say?" ...he reapeats himself and goes "thats for you, if you want to test drive it'. I said sure why not. He then said he was gonna go get the keys to move the other cars boxing it in and we can go out for a spin. 10 mins passed and if i stayed too long i was gonna be late because i had to pick up a couple of friends to go to the gym. Anyway, about 10 minutes later i started to head out (my friend already left because apparently he didnt know where i was and thought i left)....on the way out i saw the SAME SALESMAN talking to two people and showing them an RSX in another part of the lot, like he got the keys and they were INSIDE talkin bout it.....WTF happened to ME!!!!!!!!
The Lexus dealer was nicer when i was there just walking around waiting for my friend who is getting his IS300 maintainence stuff done, and a dude came out and started talking about car designs and stuff, hehe he said " what do you tihnk about the SC430" i told him " i think it's ugly to be honest" heh he was shocked. but he was cool, and asked if i wanted to test drive an IS and stuff, pretty cool folks...when we were there a while ago before my friend bought the car, they drove a demo one and winded it out (as much as that stupid shifting thing can do at least)

CURRY ACURA - i wont even go into the parts dept and service back there.....lets just say i took my car there twice b/c of problems, and they never fixed it, kept blaming somthing else.....went to another dealer, boom, fixed, took 3 days but it's fixed .

I have never had a bad experience with Curry. The only problem is that they are sooooo booked you have to make an appointment 2-3 weeks in advance. Sorry to hear about your problem with Curry.

I just came back from Westchester Acura and one salesman was very friendly (Larry S.). I am actually working out something between that dealer and R-speed. He liked the idea of having Type R's around with the Type S.

In Atlanta, you get hauled off to jail if you are doing 25 over the posted speed limit.

This is kinda off-topic but, I noticed on I-75 there is a particular spot where it has two speed limit signs. The one on the left is 55 miles and hour and the one on the right is 70. So if a cop pulls you over for doing 85 then you could be doing 30 over. Thought that was kind of amusing. Oh and if you're wondering, I do about 60 to 65. LoL
