My Yellows (which have adjustable perches, if anyone else has seen them they are bare metal rather than powdercoated like most shocks) have been kinda noisy pretty much since I put them in. I'm wondering if this is just a result of the fact the lower perch isn't powdercoated, thus giving more metal to metal friction. The noise is a metallic squeak. I don't think anything was installed improperly (I followed the shop manual and used proper tools), so I was wondering how common this is with aftermarket suspensions. Is there anything I can do to quiet this down? Would a heavy duty grease/gear lube possibly quiet things down? TIA
