Default Experienced alarm people,..enter please

i know most wont know the answer to my question,...but anyways i have a fusion alarm,...the alarm has a Automatic Rearm function,...when i disarm it,...after 20 seconds it will rearm itself,...now i like that function and all BUT,..it rearms itself even with the car on,..and well yea you guessed it,..the alarm goes off when im driving,...my question is,...would anyone by any chance know how to disable this function??

get a hold of a install manual and program the passive arming OFF (you want active arming).

Ive never even heard of fusion, to be honest. sorry.

Most alarms wont start counting down when the IGN is turned on( and its already been disarmed), and some have a key sense wire that does the same thing..

or you could take it back to where ever you got it put in at and get them to reprogram it, when i used to put alarms in, we asked if they wanted the automatic rearm, most people didnt, but i'd take it back to where you got it installed, if you did it yourself, get out your manuel and reprogram it yourself

Sounds like you don't have it installed properly. If it has ignition kill maybe you need to reverse the wires. There is a reason why one says key side and the other says ignition side.

Or better yet, it seems like it isn't even connected to ignition at all.

Yeah, there must be a wire going to acccessory +12V which tells it not to arm.
I've heard of Fusion, they have them here in NZ. Fusion basically rebadges stuff with their own brand, they don't make a lot of their own gear.
