Default B16 question......

Is it just my engine or does everybody's B16 leak oil where the head meets the block right above the "B16A" stamp? Cause i've checked out a few B16 swaps and they were all leaking oil in that same location.

it might be that cam seal seal on the head(black circle -plastic) its above where you said theres oil.... it leaked down to that area on mine. i bought a str cam seal and have zero problems now.

Yeah, before you change your head gasket check the seals.

I know exactly what you guys are talking about but the oil comes from where the head mates w/ the block. Could it be that the head needs to be bolted on a little tighter?
