I was wondering if a 00-1 itr tb would work with a 98 gsr. I noticed on the itr tb there is like an inlet near the map and on gsr there is not?
If you have a Skunk2 manifold it'll work for sure, but I'm not sure if the ITR tb has the two holes drilled in the side to accept the GSR throttle bracket. I just sold the one I had in stock so I can't look and see. Sorry.
No it will not work. Look on your GSR t/b and notice how the t/b cable goes over the top. Well the type R one goies from the bottom. Don't get the JG t/b either.
I tried to get one and the check engine light came on and my car was running erractically. Cam getting type R cams and gears.

Thanks for the replys, I'm planning to use the Skunk itr manifold with this tb, but I was wondering about that inlet near the map sensor on the itr tb? If its a vacuum hose, where does it go? Thanks again
