ABS light came on after air cared??
Have to renew my insurance this week so i took my 01 R for an air care inspection today, after the test my abs light came on. I just had a service so all fluids are fine, i turned off my car and turned it back on again the abs lights remains on, however that pressurize sound " zzzz " was there after 2-3 sound as usual. I did a few search there are many factors.. and many things i can do, reset ECu, check abs code etc. ect... but probably just take it back to the dealer... i just feel a bit better posting a thread .... any of the canadian fellow here have the same problem after getting air cared?

Probably just "confused" the ABS controller by running the fronts on the rollers w/o the rear wheels moving as well.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Interesting, as I have never heard of that with prople making Dyno runs.
It may be a coincidence... and have the car looked at. Do not just assume its a errant light. Maybe you DO have a problem.

It's most likely because of them placing your car on the dyno at the air care. The fact that only the front wheels were moving most likely confused the system into thinking there is something wrong. Look on your air care print out. They have a little warning about said subject.
"If your vehicle is equipped with ABS brakes, driving on the two-wheel dynamometer may cause the warning lights to illuminate. Braking performance will not be affected. The light should go out by itself when the system detects equal front and rear speed signals. If the light fails to extinguish within 24 hours of your AirCare inspection, please notify us."

Drive the car for about 20 miles, i'll bet it goes out in the first 5 miles and you'll never see it again. Since the car was probably on rollers for the smog check it was caused by the rear wheels not moving while the front ones were.
