if what u say is true and u only did it for a second, then it shouldnt have done anything to the internals. u may just be paranoid.

your clicking noise could be a valve tick

POssibly a damaged motor mount.

Run a compression check to determine if the valves were damaged.

i drive stick goot too....the reason it happend was stupid *** me was running a new accord full of guys who just wouldnt leave me alone...so im comming around the corner and i see a saturn about to turn so im slowing down tryin to watch the tach and the saturn at the same time but im more considerate than that so i slow down and just as i thought the saturn cuts rite in front so i made a good desicion but a bad decision slowing down and down shifting into 3rd instead of 5th i always throw it into 5th just to be safe after topping out 4th but i was paying attn to the saturn and not really what gear i was going to

Yeah, these situations happen. I was driving back home from the beach when a civic decided to weave through traffic with me. He was obviously inexperienced and was driving recklessly so i let him drive by with his cronies in the car. Not worth damaging my car nor jeopardizing others on the road.

It gets costly when you need a roadside tow. If your car is still running, i'd suggest bringing it into the shop to have it checked out. it will only get worse if unattended.

Car still shake and do all that funky stuff?

I've gone 5th to 3rd a few times being stupid, and I have a GSR, so the ratios are pretty short. Nothing's wrong so far. I might need a valve adjustment, but my Mechanic doesnt think there are any bent valves.

How long did it take you to push the clutch back in? I always sorta just kinda ride along with my foot over the clutch just as habbit. So whenever I fuckup like that, it'll be able to shove it back in and throw her in neutral. So hopefully there isn't any stress on the motor.

Stop speculating and run the compression test.

135psi to 199psi - the higher the better, but don't get all bent outta shape if it doesn't get to 199psi; different gauges can give totally different results.

28psi max variation b/w cylinders - most important; the lower the better

Leakdown test it too if you think one of the cylinders isn't sealing.

you obviously did some damage to your motor.

now go do a compression test or take it to your mechanic.

I did something close to what you say you did and I spun a rod bearing. I drove my car to the house and parked it. It was done!

rocker arms loose - might be the ticking if it's not the valves.

the shaking is either axle or motor mount related.
Good luck with everything.
