I read that the old relay can be fixed by taking ity to a shop & having it opened & romove the old solder & resolidering it again. Is this true? has anybody done this?
The original part from the 90s was made with the bad sodier.

OK, Its done.
I went out & payed $72.40 for a new relay at Honda dealer
.
As I was leaving I heard my name, So I looked & it was a guy i went to school with & he told me how to fix it. http://www.markl.f9.co.uk/howt...y.htm .
So I took out my new relay & put my used but fixed relay in & i works fine. dont pay out the wazoo like i did. its such a common problem the dealer told me they sell around 5 a day
.
If anybody needs a relay i now have a extra one now, Just e-mail me & well talk $40 free shhipping. Or if you have a steady hand just fix your own
