Default Need some help choosing mods.

I know you guys hear these posts a lot but i really dont know what to do. I need help from mostly Cali guys if possible. I am in socal and i want to stay SMOG LEGAL!!!! I have a 99 ls teg w/ 54k on the engine. AEM CAI, Tanabe racing medallion, kyb agx struts, h&r sport springs, trunk bar, and front and rear upper strut bars.

The next things i am going to do for sure are finish off the suspension with a itr rear sway, and rims and tires.

What i am asking for as far as suggestions is what everyone wants out of their honda........power. Like i said i want to stay SMOG LEGAL. I was thinking of turbo, the greddy street legal kit, but i am going to be going to college in San Diego and living in the Mission Viejo area so i will be driving a bit about three days a week, so i was not sure if boosting would put too much stress on my car while driving that much.

My other options are get a header and keep it at that and just do little things to the car but a header and little things wont give me all that much power.

I was also tossing around the idea of a small shot of nos, i know its not street legal or smog legal but it can always be taken out.

My last thought was how far can i go as far as building the engine or swaps or ls/vtec all while still being able to pass smog, visual and sniffer, and all the legalities that go along.

Thx for what ever kind of information you can give me.

if you really want the power then yea get a turbo kit, but I'm really not sure how smog legal they are. If you had vtec id say build the motor naturally aspirated, but since you have an ls you might as well put on a turbo, if you have time to keep it in good shape. Maintenence is going to be more with a turbo kit. Maybe you should consider a JRSC. i dont think a shot of "nos" would be the best for what your looking fro either. unless your going to the street races and racing pink s2000s and/or jumping over bridges
