Default Screw AEM!!!

i have an aem myself and its good but i looked in the latest import summit catalog and some (or should i say all?) of the prices on them are rediculous. i know u can get it cheaper somewhere else and that summit charges close to msrp if not the exact msrp but what does this tell u about aem company? the msrp on their products are hella high, they are trying to rip the **** out of people!!! $440 for a celica intake, $420 for eclipse?! this is just some aluminum tubing and a k&n filter. screw aem, i say go with injen and their cold air extension or make your own. i bought mine with bypass valve from landspeed racing by the way and paid $250 quite a while back.

That price is insane!!! Why waste your time going through one of those big online retailers? I got my AEM CAI of of Ebay for only $215.00 and the bidding started at $185.00. Also kep in mind that there are a ton of other items on Ebay that are bought at wholesale. If you are unsure of the seller, just check his/her feedback profile.

Do yourself a favor and visit your local performance shop if you have one. You will be able to work out the price with them, especially if you are buying more items.

I do not like ordering from magazines or catalogs. They do nothing for the sport in my area. The shops around me do however. They host races and shows.

Support the locals. You never know when you will need a sponser.
