Well i searched and all that bull sh*t, but this is so unique, that i cant really relate it to anyone...

Heres the story...I got used wires awhile back,put them in, and thats what i thought it was. So i put my OEM spark plug wires back in, and it ran good..But now it runs like **** again. Just doesnt seem as powerful as it should. I checked my plug/rotor/cap and there all in good shape. Oil change????(2500 miles on it)..

Now for the throttle problem...My idle sometimes goes up and down (fluxuates) 1-200 rpm's up and down up and down...than it sometimes goes steady. Also, when accelerating (not WOT) sometimes it feels like the throttle just stops, maybe even cuts back sometimes until i step down on it more..? What is this? TPS?????

Help!!!!!!

 

double check spark plugs - make sure they are snug and havent backed out
use a multimeter on the plug wires - look in manual for specs
use a multimeter on the tps wire - should be ~0.5-4.5v wot
see if the throttle cable isnt sticking
see if butterfly isnt sticking

 

check the basics, do an oil change, change the filter while your at it. if the plugs are ok, maybe your injectors are gettin old or clogged. . . how many miles are on the car? any internals?

 

Well im doing the skunk 2 manifold tommaro..If that doesnt fix it, that im going to buy new plugs and wires..I dont think its the injectors...

What are signs that the TPS isnt working? i tighted my TC down..
