I have $2,000 to put into my R....What should I get???
I just bought a 1997 ITR a month ago, because I wanted to be more unique and have something different than the everyday honda, well the other day a 15 year old girl I know goes and and buys a 2001 ITR...I live in a fairly samll town and I am kinda mad, I cant really do anything but I want to make my R more unique than hers as well as faster. What would you guys recommend for speed as well as looks for 2 grand?? I have Intake, and stereo so far. Thanks in advance.

I would go to driving school
so when u go on the twisties u will blow her away, even if she has exhaust and other mods.
or get some really sticky tires (S-03s)
other than that i would get the comptech CAI icebox.
if you need more power after that, then u need to really learn how to drive.
going fast is not just about having lotsa power (but it sure as hell helps)

DC2#309 is on to something... tuned right, I've seen stockers put out power well in excess of your usual I/H/E combos...

I would get Altezza tails, hyper white bulbs, strobes, city lights,red tint, A wings west big mouth bumper, The biggest aluminum wing on the face of the earth and a purple or pink Visor ,

so you wanna sink a couple mil into your R....wise decision! i would start with the tail lights and go from there....carbon altezzas are "mad fly" d00d! i can get you a set for $250,000. and then...aww fvck it...

$2000 will just about get you a set of MF-10l's without tires, or ONE JDM Recaro...
I would say get some sticky tires, JDM header, Icebox, maybe a VAFC and do some dyno tuning. And you will still have some cash left over to do other stuff.

It really makes me mad when little kids buy Rs. How is that girl going to appreciate her car? I had a Civic HX for 3 years and my R felt like a Ferrari in comparison. What do kids like that get next, an M3?
