Yea got laid off from my work on tuesday so no mods for awhile lol have to remain stock for little longer was thinking about AEM and cat back but not until i get my job back or get a new job. it seems more people are quiting or getting laid off right now like unemployed yellow dragon.

Gee LaidOffWildOhioRice lol hmmm i don;t know. thanks Goch yea hopefully i have it figured out that i can make enough from workers comp to pay my car payment for my R so hopefully i can keep that. but i need a winter vehicle for winter R won't make it and was planning on buying a new truck since i gave my old one to my dad. but i don't know now just might get a winter beater if nothing else.

i'll be joining you soon. i know fr a fact that i am getting laid of just not sure when the actual date is. the have to give me 60 days norice(thats in the union contract)
but i can collect 550 a week unemployment, so thats no to bad

 

Man, that sucks, Wild... What field are you in? My roommate is a software developer for a telecom company that's going down the tubes (L*c*nt, ahem). He's basically day-to-day right now...

 

It's pretty rough everywhere, and I'm not so sure about NOVA either, I have many friends down there, almost all of whom have been laid off from all sorts of jobs in the past 2 months...just hunker down and eat lots of pasta, but hope you find something good soon! I was laid off 15 days after I bought my Type R, fortunately unemployment in PA is pretty sweet, and I got some temp work that pays the bills for a while...but it's slim pickins. Oh well, more time to drive the Type R!

 

Yep, I hope Bell doesn't follow that trend

Dont sweat it man. There's more work out there. I was ****-canned from a $45k a year job in March of this year for no apparent reason. On a given Monday at 5pm my manager called me into her office and tells me "I have to let you go." Dumbfounded, I replied "you're joking"! She said no, these orders came straight from the top.

Turns out I got blamed for a major goof-up that some **** bitch made (she had seniority on me, and was a lesbian man-hater). And then blamed it on me. I was shattered when it happened. But I now have a better job, making more $ and less headaches, plus my side business which has always been cars.

dang dude i was gonna congratulate you but then i caught a quick glimpse of "off" after "laid"......anyways i hope everything works out for you and you are able to get those mods we all seriously yearn for some day.

 

Dude, don't sweat it. I just got laid off yesterday myself. Fortunately I got a nice severence package. Just look at it as an opportunity to take all that experience you accrued and put it down on your resume. You'll usually end up getting a much better job! Good luck.
