Went to the track happy w/ outcome wondering what to do to get about 13.5
I just got back from the track tonight. I ran 14.8, it was my first time at the track with the new ride and i want to know how to get down to about a 13.5 or below?

OBD 1 conversion w/higher rev limiter
JDM header + test pipe
CAI
thinner head gasket
spec b's
FPR
cam gears
slicks
lotsa dyno time
other stuff:
JDM final drive
suspension improvements
diet
TA retainers + stronger valave springs (?)

powered by HKS windshield banner
practice...
that should get u into 13s.... maybe

practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and maybe a couple of bolt ons (header, exhaust, etc..) ..........that should be good for high 13's, then take it from there

13.5's hmmmmm first u should race ur car harderrrr, like u stole the thing....
then get a new clutch and flywheel....learn to race it even harder....
get more power i/h/e, cams, camgears, valvesprings, retainers, light head work, race it harderrrrr
get ur slicks....race it harderrr.....
then u might have broken axles

We all want 13.5, but not many of us do it... why? 'cuz ITR is a track (road race) car and not a drag car. You should definitely take it out to a track before you decide to change the dynamics on your (sounds like) new R. My best example is for you to check out (if you haven't already) the Best Motoring TypeR legend video. You'll appreciate what you have and think twice about really fixing up your car. JMO.
