I might be stupid for thinking this, but its a never ending battle in my head. Obviously having less weight (less fuel) in your car is an advantage. But the more fuel you have in your tank, the more gravity (pressure) will force it into the fuel pump. This is the part that may or may not solve my debate. Do fuel pumps intake a constant psi regardless of gravity/pressure?


now im not saying a FULL talk vs. 1/8. But rather 1/2 tank vs 1/8, or any other similar combo....hmmm

yes... if your going for an all out best 1/4 mile time for your car ever, run your car for a few minutes, then drain the gas tank. there should be enough gas in the system to run you down the 1/4 mile
