using super glue to attatch my emblems back, a good idea?
glue+paint=bad
trust me I had a bitch of a time trying to remove some glue the idiot who owned the car before used to put a molding back on with. I called some body shops that told me the only way to fix it would be to repaint the panel. I tried using a heat gun to take some glue off and it worked but the parts where the glue was applied thinly won't come off. so now they are a toasted brown color. do it right the first time and just buy a new emblem.

i wouldn't super glue on my car to put back my emblems... i'd use double sided tape that way if you ever decide you want to take it off again it simply comes off with no problems. if you use super glue the emblem is there for good and no matter how neat you try to be super glue always finds a way to make run/drip marks.
Judging from what it did to my fingers when I got a little small dab on them, it definately IS NOT what you want to use on paint.
