got a 41 from my ecu...

check the connector on the o2 sensor
my accord did the same thing....but not all the time..it only did it when i started the car after it had been running for a while(ie the sensor was already hot) i would get that code....all you have to do is replace the o2 sensor (which can be spendy, or just shut the ingnition off for at least 30sec and then turn it back on and the code should not come back on till the next time you shut down and restart...i say 30sec cause less than that and it will spike the ECU which can cause problems...

My car did the same thing. Just replace the O2 sensor. Dont use anything but a factor honda ngk sensor. If you dont you will have nothing but problems I learned that the hard way.
The O2 sensor does two things. 1st it detects the amount of oxygen there is in the exhaust gas so the car will not run to rich or too lean. 2nd it measures the temperature of the manifold to let the computer know when to take the car out of cold start mode. When you throw a code 41 (O2 sensor heater) means the temperature range of the O2 sensor is out of whack. Solution, replace the O2 sensor.

the O2 doesnt measure exhaust temperature at all, period. All a code 41 is telling is that the built in heater (most accords use a 4 wire heated o2) is not functioning for whatever reason.
Hondas detect when its time for closed loop via the water temperature sensors, more specifically one of them, but i forget which one (front of the head or thermostat housing sensor).
Check wiring.. if it looks good replace the o2 or try a friends.

It should be on the left side of the exhaust manifold, its 4 wires that go into the heat shield. And if it happened when you got a new engine, chances are the o2 sensor is bad. This happens, just buy a new one and replace it, although I do recommend taking it to a shop if you've never done it, it can be BITCH to get out. If you do it yourself, make sure you use anti-sieze lube on the new o2 sensor threads. I believe o2 sensor for non-vtec f22 is around 75, the v-tec o2 sensor is a bit more expensive.

the o2 does measure the temp. When the engine warms up it goes into closed loop . I had the same code on my 92 ex-r Check too see if it is working. Use a multi meter and back probe the power wire should around .4 to .8 volts. By the way mine was 235 bucks at the dealer.

would this be behind the heat sheild or next to it? i looked next to it and i didnt see crap, but hey maybe i dont know what im looking for.
