I am about to give up my damn Honda and buy a Mustang Cobra (1993-1994).

BUT, I won't do it if people can help me out here. I want to know a couple of things first.

Assuming I don't sell my car, I have a $1,500 budget. I don't want nitrous. I know that a turbo on its own would cost that much.

So, what can I do and stay N/Asp? I know everyone says Header/Intake/Exhaust and yes, this is in my budget. BUT I want to keep up with my friend's Mustang GT (with slight mods he's at 300HP) on DRY roads (I can beat him for 50 feet when raining ).

So, what works for SERIOUS power?

Also, I know this forum may not be the right section, but I have an automatic and REALLY want a manual (and if I reach the power I want, I'll need it to handle power gains). Any pointers on engine swap?

Imports are more my style, but I've maxed my car at 117MPH and when a Mustang GT stock can hit 120MPH in 3rd gear, I know I either need a lot of work or a new car.

Yeah. Different car it is! Only Honda I could see myself owning is a 92 Prelude Si...even then, still would have a lot of work to catch up with my friends' cars.

So, American Muscle or a light weight RWD import it is.

i got my car for 10.5k 00 Si. so basically it's a B16 with itr intake manifold and tb and j's racing intake...oh yea and 50 shot dry. it smokes gt stangs (light mods) all day.
