97 Honda Civic upgrade ideas??
I have 97 Honda Civic Coupe EX, looking to upgrade it a bit. I want more power so what options do I have working with the stock motor and not looking lose P/S or A/C or do a full motor swap..
Other then that I am open but just want to make sure I go about it the right and most cost efficient way.

Hoestly you arent going to get any real power out of the stock motor unless you boost it. You can do the typical I/H/E combo and maintain the p/s and a/c but the gains are minimal.

Intake/Header/Exhaust
You wont regret going turbo, so long as you stay reasonable.
What are you using it for? Daily? Auto-x?

Daily, is there any turbo that will let you keep A/C at least? Car is so small P/S would not be that bad to lose would it?
Intake/Header/Exhaust those would be easy. Got any tips on good ones? Something nice but not to pricey and I don't want that whinny sound..

Honestly I don't think I/H/E is worth the amount of money you put into them on a d-series. That is just my opinion however.
As for good ones? I can't really help you there. I've heard good things about apex'i world sport catbacks. I honestly don't think intake brand matters much. Its just a pipe with a filter after all.
You can keep your ac and ps with the right turbo manifold.

Bolts ons on a d series are pointless. Even if you did exhaust, header, intake, hi flo cat, tb, intake mani, cam, and tune you would still probably be under 125whp. Most turbo kits aren't compatible with ac. So my suggestion would be a jackson racing supercharger. Basically you just bolt it on with bigger injectors then tune it. With that maybe 170whp depending on what pulley you run for about 2500ish. 170ish hp mid 14's but its better than spending 1500 on na and getting nowhere.

Bolt ons are completly pointless, sure your car may 'feel" a tad quicker, but its not worth the money for a couple hp.
Take a look at the greddy bolt on kit, i belive it's compatable with ac and ps, and should be enough to give it a nice kick in the ***.
