Default Honda HAMP oil filter

I went to a local Honda dealer this morning to buy a oil filter, they gave me this Thailand made HAMP filter, and the man told me Honda has changed to this filter. Can any body tell me is this filter any good?

NO Honda written on it. Just "Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd" written on the box, and it is green, both the box and the filter itself. Thanks

I recommend that you return that 'thing' and go to another dealership or order online...

I believe its synthetic, I will have to check though, one of the differences is the internal design compared to regular Hondas filter They are $13 each only $3 morte than a Mobil 1 filter
