Type-S STB
I finally got around to installing this Saturday. This bar doesn't bolt to studs on the strut assembly, but in 2 pre-drilled (on each side) holes closer to the firewall (still on the strut tower). I had to drop the strut assembly as the base was partially blocking the holes. I was a little leary of that, at first, but after I got into it, it only took about 30 minutes. I had to bend a bracket for one of the connectors on the cruise control to get it out of the way of the STB. This is a cheap mod...on my stock suspension I noticed that it helped quite a bit on high load/high speed cornering. It also improved the response in the steering wheel. I would highly recommend doing at least a STB if not the Type-S bar.

If you get the Mugen or Tein suspensions, they already have the bolts that stick up through those holes as a part of the top mounting bracket.
I think you may need the pillow-ball mounts with the Tein suspension, but I'm not sure.
I've got the Type S STB and Mugen suspension. They are not on the car yet, but they will be in a few weeks! I can't wait!
Good choice on the STB, it's subtle and made by Honda too!
