Default Best suspension for $1000?

Sup, i've been reading the forums a lot and finally decided to join.

i am willing to spend $1000 for a good suspension system that doesn't make me rub against the car, lower about 1.5inches, eat up my tires and will last fir a long time. Any sugestions?

thanks for your help in advance

-Ed

You might want to post this on the EG + Civic Forum, they may have a better knowledge of what u need...although personally, I've had good experience in using Koni yellow/ground control combo.

First off Welcome,
Second, there are specific forms for each genera.

If I had a 1000.00 for just suspension, I would have to buy TEIN.

1000 bucks will get you KW varient 1s. Best suspension out there, and a REAL coilover system, not a sleave over. http://www.kwsuspensions.com.

Tein SS with Pillow mounts, they cost just a lil more, but are well worth it.

This sounds like a street setup. So I would have to say Koni yellows with whatever springs you like will be more than good for any street use, and cheaper than coilovers.

i was looking into getting some ground controls and koni yellows at first (about $750), but then i started lookin around and found that titan motorsports had the tein ss kit for $850 , so i figured id spend a little extra and get sleeveless coilovers that were 16 way adjustable
