Tein SS's
16 way damper
Coilover set
adjustible ride height and comfort. What more could you need?
Havent seen a downfall to them yet

For a civic ? ummmmm , nah ....
I would say Tein HA's are probably the best bang for the buck. SS's are too soft.

I'd go with TEIN Flex Type w/ the EDFC.
I'm lazy and would rather adjust my ride height from inside my car.

I agree and comes with much better spring rates.

Re: BEST Suspension for a Civic (EM1b18cR)
why would you go Tein??? You could get MUCH more suspension for the same coist if not cheaper.
What do the Honda Challenge guys run?
Tein???......wrong
Edit- if you're really stuck on getting a Japanese full coilover....don't get anything less than Buddy Club Racing Spec/Zeal B6/ etc, with some custom rate Eibach ERS coilover springs. Best combo if you can afford it. Only thing Koni's don't have(although they will handle much higher rates) is the damper body adjustment/preload option....but then again- if you're asking what's best, you probably have no clue to suspension tuning, so why does it matter.
Get some Tein Basics and sport the sticker

Re: BEST Suspension for a Civic (Emerika)
best handling suspension imo is Ground Controls custom spring rates 400lbs (front) 500lbs (rear) with revalved Koni yellows and ground control top pillow mounts

tein ss = tein super shitty, my friend has them and it doesnt even compare to my tokico illumina's. it also cost me less.
skunk 2 or GC with illumina is your best friend. one more thing, there is not such thing as BEST SUSPENSION, all of
them has their ups and downs.

Can you give reasons for them not being good? Like the balance wasnt right or theywere to soft or to hard. Not low enough or to low.

Re: BEST Suspension for a Civic (dohcdelsol)
Just get these, I got mine on Ebay cheap. KYB AGX shocks and Eibach Pro Kit Springs. From there, swap in some struts bars and an SI sway bar while your at it, some lightweight rims and good tires, and boom, you're cornering like a ****.

basically his firmest setting equaled to my #2 which is damn soft. even when he is on his firmest it doesnt even compare to my firmest setting.
oh yea he owns an Ep and he gets smoked my an automatic 4 dr down highway 9 if anyone cares.

Eibach pro-kit sucks! They are way too soft and have too much slop. Definately not worth it.

AHHH Dont give away the secrete. This by far is the sweetest set up. Konis and Custom rated Ground Controls.
BTW: What is the ground control top pillow mounts.

and how many people who actually race run Tein suspension....ask that also.
with 2000 bucks, you can do a LOT. Revalved and shortened Koni Yellows + GC with custom rate Eibach ERS coilover springs + coilover sleeve adapter + Comptech rear sway/tie combo + wheels of choice + Falken Azenis = fully adjustable, lifetime warranty on dampers and springs, and a VERY solid and well designed suspension.
Or you can drop the same money on a green shock of which is no where near the quality....and probably end up pushing around every hard turn in corner

correct me if i am wrong, but the edfc does not change ride height, it adjusts damper settings.
