Default Newbie Question: Having Shifting Problems....

Hey guys-
Just came back from the track on Saturday and began to experience shifting probelms late on Sunday. I didn't drive the car hard at the track (being my first time and all) and it was fine for the 1.5 hr ride home from there. It wasn't the car's first time at the track though, as the previous owner took it to the track very often.

About 10-15 minutes after driving on Sunday, I experienced a very tough time shifting gears. Getting it in to neutral is easy, but getting it into gear is almost impossible without double clutching. The car seems to be fine within the first 10-15 minutes of driving, but the problem arises soon after.

Any idea of what the problem can be? I've been told that it might be the synchros, shifter bushings, or that I need a clutch adjustment. The car has been running perfect before the problem. Any ideas?

Stock clutch? You probably need a new pressure plate or clutch disc.

how old is it? you may want to get your clutch inspected and all. It just might be on its way out.
