Default the next great beater!!!

ok as some of you know, my car was rear ended, and today im going to find out if its totaled or not, and i kind of figure their going to total it so im pretty much stuck with about 3,000$ plus whatever else i can sell off of the car..... i was wondering should i buy another CRX Si??? or should i get a new beater, i was thinking something like a 93 Civic Hatch with an engine swap, or maybe a 90-93 RX7 Turbo, or a down payment on a newer car..... but i cant decide what i should do.....

Well how bad is it....If its fixable, why Not buy it back and fix it and then pocket the rest of the cash.

I would have to agree with ImportHatch, but if you have your heart set on something new then go for it. If you plan on parting the car I'm interested in the hood.
