Help me choose cam, fly wheel and rods for D16Y8
I currently have a mild p&p head, n/a spec cam, cam gear, ti retainers, race springs, 10.5:1 pistons, obd1 ecu with n/a spec chip, clutch, 4.9 final gear.
I just got a JRSC and want to add a few more goodies to it.
First off, I think as long as I use a thicker head gasket the pistons will be ok...thoughts on that one?
Also plan on getting a chip intended for SC apps.
I see crower has a specific cam for F.I. sohc, so that is a possiblity, any other suggestions?
Fly wheel is pretty standard I think, so I'll go with a fidanza 7 pounder
Rods, can't seem to go wrong with Eagle.
Any other suggestions?

Eagles are a good rod, the ACT prolite is a nice flywheel, and I agree the Crower forced induction cam is a good choice.
For my nitrous setup I also used the 10.5:1 SRP pistons, Eagle rods, and I will probably use a ACT prolite flywheel, and Zex cam since the high exhaust lift is good for nitrous.
