Bent a few valves
Well here is the bad news, i found why my engine was running like garbage.. i did a compression test and found my results to be 180-120-60-100
.. Anyways i suspect this of being bent valves(car runs fine while moving).. I was just wondering what work is needed and costs are involved with this, all help will be greatly appreciated..

-Valves-$200
-Three angle valve job-$?
-Deck the head-$?
-Timing belt(mightaswell when im there)$120
Anyone else add to the list?

Water pump depends on your mileage but it's a might as well item since it's all apart.
I didn't change mine only because my car had about 30k kms when I decided to break it.
The 3 angle valve job is not necessary but you do have to measure the valve seat and inspect it to see if it is all mashed up from the valve being bent. Likely you will have to get 1-2 or all four of them in that particular chamber recut and it if it damaged to some severe extent you will have to have the seats replaced and recut.
Valve grinding compound is your friend plus the suction cup valve holder, to have everything seated.
My recommendation to add to the list is to replace all the valveseals.... it's an item that shouldn't be overlooked since everything is apart.
I trust my own (bad, expensive) experience in having my car repaired and running good again.
Good luck to you.

Head gasket set comes with all of the valve seals, as well as the intake and exhaust gaskets, valve cover gasket, grommets, and seals + miscellaneous stuff.
Its not going to cost that much.
Headgasket is $50
You can buy 1 valve at a time. So find out which valve is bad.
One intake valve from acura is $18.93 from Carland Acura, and exhuast is $29.09. I highly recommend you take your head to a machine shop and get it looked at and have the new valves installed. My friend just took his 4g63 head to a machine shop down here...needed surfacing which required removing all valves. They reground the valve seats and everything else..total cost $157.
Do your home work.
Buy cheap acura parts here: http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org
Depending on the miles you can do a timing belt and change the water pump but thats your choice.
Timing belt: 57.15
Water pump: 97.91

hrmmm....strange...I bought everything separately that's why I wasn't aware of the "headgasket SET"
I imagine it would have been cheaper that way...oh well...
I did half half.... pulled the head off myself.... dismantled everything sent the head out to have it resurfaced and then the valve seat cut.
Had Ben at AJR put the valves back in and then I was on my merry way after I slapped it back on the shorty.
