I'm going with 2.5" mandrel bent piping, 2.5" Carsound CAT, and 2.5" Magnaflow Dual Tip muffler. I was going to go with a test pipe in place of the CAT w/ a resonator, but then my gas mileage would be sh*t and I'd probably have trouble selling it in the future. The Carsound will allow great flow(not as good as a test pipe) and will keep the volume down(not as good as the resonator). If the exhaust is too loud I'll get a resonator fitted into the system.

Is it true that Magnaflow makes Thermal exhausts??

 

I'm not sure...but Magnaflow makes great mufflers. The only trouble I'm having right now is figuring out how I'm going to fit the Carsound CAT to my DC downpipe. The DC downpipe is a unique flange shape.

 

Hey man, call http://www.testpipe.com. They mounted both flanges to my Carsound cat for me. It has the unique flange on it. In fact, I though they mounted the wrog one. LOL

Any pics of the DC header flange??

Is that right?? Running with a testpipe eats up more gas??

yes, from what i know!!! and i spoke with several magnalfow spokes ppl

they have a commerical consumer marketing policy; in other words for the right money and bulk buy, they will engrave anyones name on a magnaflow. why they car, it all comes from them. just get the money..
