Lookin for a Tranny for my 1st gen B16a, preferably a Y1 or one that will work with the Y1 clutch

hey, i lost you for a while. i do have a gear set from a y1, i'm waiting to see if earl wants to buy it. but if he passes, i can sell it to you. the reverse issue you have, can only be fixed by opening the tranny and taking a look at the reverse selector! i can meet with you this weekend, let me know!

 

what is in the y1 gear set? will it remedy my 2nd, 3rd and 5th gear grinds?

does you tranny make a humming noise when you drive on the highway? it sounds like you have to get a bearring set, because yours are worn out. second gear grinds only happen, when your mainshaft bearings go bad and when you break the pressure plate!
