Spinning a main bearing. Causes??
What's up guys?? I have an H23 with 157K miles on it. I plan on running my car kind of hard (at the track, not dragstrip) and I heard that it is not uncommon to spin a main bearing in H23 engines. How should I try to protect myself from this??
What RPM range should I confine myself to??
Thanks

lack of oil pressure and sudden high rpm are big causes of spun mains. like throwing it in 2nd at 6700rpm or someting u know
keep the rpm up to begin with and u should be straight.. maybe if uwant pull the pan and girdle and make sure everything still at stock torque specs... dont have toothough
