filling in the molding holes
my buddy is getting a paint job soon and wants to fill in those holes when you take off the moldings(btw, he has a 95 eg)...what did some of you guys do to fill it in(bondo?)?
Put sheet metal behind the door so that it is against the hole on the inside. Then put layers of bondo on the hole (that's now covered up from the inside with sheet metal) until the bondo is a little higher than the rest of the molding. Sand down till even. Wala. You should not use all bondo when shaving the moldings though, but in your case, or his case, using bondo for the little hole is aOK IMO. Hope this helps a little.

Welding is def the best plan.
