Default Tit. retainers and valvesprings, are they worth it?

I was considering the purchase of titanium retainers and valvesprings and was wondering what peoples opinions are on them. They will be going on a d16y7. Thanks,

Look for Exospeed's Group Buy in the Best Buy section for Isky retainers, and springs.
I'd do some thinking about the Ti retainers. They wear a little quick.

You wont need springs and retainers unless you are planning on upgrading your camshaft. And Ti retainers are a wear item, dont be surprised if you need to replace them sooner than you thought.

There are special coatings made for them to increase their strength and lifespan, but I dont know enough about them to give a good opinion on them. Here is a thread about one of the special coatings. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=455732

When you talk about Ti retainers wearing fast, how long are we talking? 20k miles? 40k? Thanks,

Again unless you're running a fully built engine I would not worry about ti-retainers.

Why do you want them? What benefits do you think they will offer?

Its not that I necessarily want them, but I did see them on a group buy for my car and was considerin the purchase if people thought they were worth it. I think that I will probably hold off since I'm not going to extreme with the engine mods.
