I know its not honda related, but with the sudden wave of Nissan related stuff that's been appearing in this forum, I felt I had to join in - especially with *this* car
My friend asked me to take some pics of his car with my camera, so I met up with him at the carwash.
It's basically a BMW 318i (E36) with a Nissan Silvia S14 SR20-DET engine
Has a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4 intercooler (which barely fits under his front bumper), Hamann rims, Link Engine Management (same line of standalone ECU that runs my integra), Trust turbokit consisting of a Trust Type-R external wastegate, GReddy TD06-25G turbo, and Trust manifold, 3" 5-Zigen Border GT exhaust, and a whole lot of other stuff which doesn't make the car go fast.
I have to admit, this car is stupid fast
At 14psi, its currently pushing 352HP at the wheels. He's thinknig of getting some forged pistons, rods, and some JUN cams, and taking it up to 20psi..
Thai people come up with the most crazy swaps, hey?
Anyway, here's some pics - enjoy

Probably half of the E30s that are in Thailand are running with SR20DETs, because the swap works so well, its more reliable, and its cheaper to maintain. BMW engines are expensive..
But just about every engine you can think of has been swapped into an E36. 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GTE, SR20-DET, RB20-DET, RB25-DET, RB26-DETT (Skyline R32+), 13B-T (RX7 rotary engine). Oh, forget to mention M-Power, but that just doesn't compare with the "JDM" swaps

Well, when he bought the car, it had its original 318i engine, and the previous owner had the banner on there already. He couldn't be bothered to remove the banner, so he just left it on there. Kinda intimidating though, isn't it? Especially when you see the "318i" badge on the back - once he floors it, and you hear a wastegate screaming, you know something's not right..

suprisingly no. THere's only a little under 300 DC2 integra's that were ever sold in Thailand - so an integra is already quite rare over here. I only ever see another teg on the streets maybe once or twice a week. And I only know of 2 other integras running B20Bs.. so its still quite unique
I know its rather quite the opposite in the states
