vss and o2 heater
I have an 89 hatch w/ z6 engine w/ p28 ecu
After clearing up my coolant temp sensor code my vss code went away (speedometer and odometer still not working) and I got 41, the o2 heater code.
Has anyone done this swap before and gotten the speedo to work? I know in the 92-95 cars there is something in the guage cluster too. I could very well have a bad sensor too, just don't have any around to test out.
For the o2 sensor, I'm thinking I just need a new one. I tested the resistance between the two heater wires and it was something like 1.4 ohms, which I think is too high.
Any suggestions?

check your speedo cable, make sure that it's plugged in all the way. You may have to jiggle it a few times to make sure it's in. You can also pull your cluster out then drive a few feet to find out if your speedo cable is actually turning will driving. The VSS doesnt usually break that much but if it does, they're not too expensive and not difficult to replace.
