i just recieved a letter in the mail today from the dealer where i bought my itr. it said theres a recall on the itrs electrical wiring and security system. it says i need to schedule an appointment to have it looked at. has anyone else received a letter like this.

 

I have moved from my original purchase address...is it only for 01's?

Whereabouts in CT? Which dealership did you get your R at? I got mine at Acura of Avon. I'll have to call them and see about this.

 

perhaps it's only if you got the dealer secuirty system?

I just called Acura's 800 number and they said they're no recall for mine. Its a 2000.

i bought it at acura by executive in north haven. i think they sent it because there trying to mess with my car. one of the mechanics there has a civic si with a b18c5 in it. maybe he wants to switch some of his old parts with mine since i only have 6000 miles on it.

 

If you call Acuras 800#, they'll ask for you VIN number and tell you if theres any recall or anything on your car. If not, I would tell them that your dealer said there was. Acura is very serious about that type of stuff.
